The Noble Box Project
SZLACHETNA PACZKA (hereinafter Noble Box) project was established in 2001 in order to provide aid to struggling families during Christmas holidays. Its main premise is the idea of helping wisely – providing direct aid in a way that it is effective, concrete and meaningful, but also giving hope and an impulse to act to the families that are struggling.
The founder of the Noble Box Project, Stowarzyszenie WIOSNA (hereinafter SPRING Association), was established more than a decade ago (2001). They are a non-profit organization with a simple mission: to help and assist families that cannot afford a Christmas gift or their basic dreams. First and foremost, they want people to effectively help each other; therefore, their project connects families in need with donors and volunteers.
They have successfully managed to involve world supporters! Thanks to their long-time friend, Jerzy Dudek, the Real Madrid soccer players volunteered themselves to take part in the Noble Box project by building a box for a polish family and financially supporting this campaign. They also received a special blessing from the Pope, Benedict XVI!
Between 10 and 11 December, donors deliver completed boxes to warehouses. Once the box has been processed, it is taken and directly delivered to the chosen family. That’s where the magic happens! The boxes are usually welcomed with enormous joy and excitement, words of gratitude or simply…lack of words and tears of emotions.
Hoomark Poland is proud to share these pictures with you – our Hoomark wrapping paper has reached the Presidential Palace in Warsaw on the occasion of the yearly “Noble Box Project” that helps and assists families that cannot afford a Christmas gift. This project therefore connects families in and with donors and volunteers.
This year the national Polish soccer team supported the project as well…
