On Wednesday 29th June, along with our new name, our Company’s Annual Results were announced to the London Stock Exchange and our shareholders celebrated a year of excellent performance.
Following on from a week of announcements and presentations to our City of London based institutional investors , Paul commented;
“The passion and commitment from our team around the world continues to raise the bar in all aspects of our business and is pivotal to our ability to exceed the expectations of our customers and investors”.
Paul not only wanted to share our success with our shareholders, but also with all of our employees around the Group, and so on Monday 4th July Paul and Anthony Lawrinson, our Group CFO, embarked on a World Tour around the Group to present to all colleagues sharing the good news of our performance and also presenting our Group’s rebrand…
Their first stop on the world Tour was the US, where presentations took place in Savannah and Atlanta followed by Milwaukee, hosted by our US Brand Ambassador and HR Director, Deme Christian and CEO, Gideon Schlessinger.
Whilst in the US, the acquisition of Lang Companies Inc was concluded. Based near Milwaukee, near to the home of Wisconsin’s famous Green Bay Packers, there was only one way to celebrate this very exciting development – wear the traditional headware of Green Bay Packers fanatical supporters!
The second destination was Melbourne, hosted by our Australian Brand Ambassador and Commercial Director Andrew Van Oosterwijck and CEO of Artwrap, Frank Pynakker.
Paul and Anthony then flew onto Hong Kong where they presented to our IG Asia team hosted by our Asia Brand Ambassador, Alvin Li.
Their second visit in Asia was across the Chinese Boarder to IG Huizhou hosted by our Chinese Brand Ambassador and General Manager Johnson Sim, Aka Luke Sky Walker!
The fourth leg of their world tour took them back across the world back to Europe, to Amsterdam and then down to Hoogeveen where they presented to and were hosted by our Dutch Brand Ambassador, Bernadine Douwes, and Hoomark’s Managing Director, Joost Bogers, who was very keen to show their big rolls of wrap!
It didn’t stop there. Their 5th tour stop was back in the UK on Monday 18th July at Anker hosted by UK Brand Ambassador and PA, Sally Clark, and Managing Director, Brian Hall. Thankfully, the UK did us proud and gave us a sunny day and a great picture!
That Afternoon saw a trip to beautiful Stapleford and to our composite gift business, Scoop, hosted by Brand Ambassador and Managing Director, Steve Morton.
On Tuesday 19th July, Paul and Anthony took off again this time to Rotterdam and presented to the Anchor team hosted by our Dutch Brand Ambassador Gerton Verschoor and Managing Director Ron Vroegindeweij.
Having already travelled some 28,000 miles, Paul and Anthony ended their World Tour in Wales on Thursday 28th July presenting to the IG UK Team, hosted by Brand Ambassador and Brand Communications Manager Katie Brickle and Managing Director Lance Burn. It only seemed fitting to finish off with a slice of cake!
